New Build Slab Prices Central Texas
Good Evening everyone! At last I am finally getting started on my first new home build/investment, and am very excited! I have been waiting/ working towards this moment for a couple years now! First things first yes I am working with a professional builder, and yes I know "it depends!"
Here's what I got... I am starting a 1338 square foot 3 bed 2 bath two story home in Leander tx (78645) The first floor is 810 square foot plus 220 square foot carport and 121 square foot porch for a total of 1151 square foot on the first floor (slab.) The property is basically flat, fairly rocky soil in the area, and engineering has been done to call for #4 rebar at 12" on center with a 4" slab with beams ranging between 2-3 ft.
Now to the question... the builder that is helping me along the way got a quote of $13,000. Does this sound like a reasonable quote for a good quality slab, or is this overpriced? all educated opinions are greatly appreciated!
