Buying Older Home the has been Rehabbed a few Times

I'm looking at a property that was built in 1977.  My question is what would be the pitfalls of buying a property that has been updated a few times over the years but mainly a facelift more so than a complete rehab with plumbing and electrical.  With the technological changes over that length of time what should I look out for?

Problem is the expensive stuff hasn’t been fixed. Older homes can get complicated, nothing you can’t handle. If you’re on pier and beam it’ll make things a lot easier

My thoughts exactly.  I wanted to cover any concerns by reaching out to see if there were any other things to consider.  Thanks for reaching out Elliott.  By the way that is my first name as well!!!
