All I care about in the realtors that I have bought homes with is if they own rentals and have done my same investment strategy. They could be on a bike for all I care.

Too nice of a vehicle spells loan or lease payments, which spells their need for commissions is greater. This can obviously be an obstacle to providing sound, measured advice.
My last two agents (1 LA, 1 BA) were my tenants. Both had much nicer cars than me.
The value provided was ok with each but they were more excited about closing than I was.
The buyer's agent (I was forced to get one by the LA to get on the viewing schedule) wanted me to close on the already short escrow cash buy a full week ahead of schedule even though I agreed on a fixed date seller holdover, rent-free. When I reminded her of this, she was like 'oh yeah, sorry. It really does you no good to close early.' Uh yeah.
As an agent - let me say this.
I drive a used Lexus RX 350. Sounds luxurious, and I do feel like it is - but I bought it because it was well within my budget and I want to be comfortable and practical while driving a car that is notoriously safe and requires the least amount of money to maintain. :)
I also will tell you that I could opt to drive something new, flashy, and well above the amount I paid for the used Lexus, but I choose not to because I love to practice what I preach when it comes to healthy financial living.
Not to mention - given the miles I drive, and my investor mindset - it makes me sick to think of the depreciation that immediately would happen from driving something brand new off the lot! haha

I'm an agent and I have 2 different vehicles I could show up in. One is a 2018 Durango SRT the other a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, one paid for in full, the other almost paid for in full.
Where I'm showing houses depends on which vehicle I drive. Dirt roads get the Jeep, nice weather paved streets get the Durango.
One person who replied mentioned they felt it would appear the person had a car payment and would be more eager to get to closing (could be good or bad depending on the person), I want to point out that not all agents, or agent investors or investors for that matter, rely on solely on the income from real estate to pay their bills.
Being the owner of 2 other non-real estate businesses pays for my cars etc, real estate is my income for retirement and charity, so where I'm always eager to close for my investor clients and my non-investor clients, it's more about seeing them get what they're reaching for than my commission. Of course, I work for commission, because we work for money, but I'm not going to go without if I don't close this week, so, it's you getting to the closing table I'm reaching for, and the commission is just my paycheck for helping you.

But, I do like clown cars.
Cars mean nothing! Show me the hustle! Sell my home or find a home for me. Do thy job!
But seriously some realtors have such a dumb look about them. All dressed up with fancy cars...means nothing if you can't broker a fantastic deal for me. I've seen realtors with 10+ years and all they do is submit a dumb offer on a home and don't even bother to fancy it up, put a nice note on their for their buyers do something....anything to stand out.
A car means nothing. Just do your job.

NOT unless your Mark Cuban, lol,,
But yes I look at watches and shoes, cars irrelevant,
Haha I love this. I drive an old Prius that’s paid for, but my portfolio has grown to 6 doors and I plan to 5x that in the next few years. Most my tenants and clients have better vehicles for me and I’m kind of large so everyone laughs at me for being in a small car… and to be honest I plan to upgrade in the next 3-12 months but that’s just because a truck is starting to make sense for me. I like that I can blend in when I’m with my contractors who don’t drive really nice new stuff and I like that I can blend in when I go to rougher houses and not “look rich” but I’m only human and it’s about to run its course because sometimes I do think non-investor clients care ** a little ** about you being in a decent car.
I'll just say it, Tacoma. I would prefer a 2000-2004, but hey, I am a car guy.... Shows taste and sensibility :)
I don't care, as long as the car is well-taken care of.
I will say that the best agent I ever had (she was my L.A. agent) drives a Mercedes SUV.
