I recommend checking under the "NETWORK" tab on Bigger Pockets and then you can review various lenders and their "specialties".
@Nate Eazor sure would love to connect or learn more about your lender!
@Jack Tulloch I will check it out, thanks.

@Jennifer Castaneda thanks for posting. Always great to hear from a fellow Texan. @Alicia Marks thanks for the mention.
I always recommend the same method when trying to identify good vendors - get your referral from a fellow investor. I respect everyone's opinion here and how they get business. But how do you know if anyone is any good? Sometimes you don't know....until it's too late. And this goes for any plumber, electrician, property manager, ANYTHING. Getting a referral from a fellow investor still won't guaranteed it...but it will certainly improve your chances of finding the right type of lender. And yes, real estate investment loans are a little strange to some.
We live in a great place being a part of DFW. We have so many real estate groups that we can go meet with and network with. Visit your local REI groups. Some post here on the Bigger Pockets Marketplace. Many post on meetup.com. Even facebook will have some. Networking is always a great practice and you never know who you might meet there and what good information they have to share. Would certainly recommend visiting if one is close to you.
I even wrote an entire post on this topic that you can read HERE and it includes the questions you should be asking your lenders when you interview them.
Anyway, I hope all of that makes sense. Get with Alicia too, she's a great person to know here locally. Thanks!
