I have come across a property that is going to be auctioned through auction.com in my neighborhood. I would like to see if I can get a hand on it. Is there a possibility I can stuck a deal with home owner before it goes to auction? Can I contact home owner and show my interest? I am new to this process and would appreciate any help.
@Lenny Kancharla Hi Lenny, if it is going to Auction then more than likely there is no "homeowner" the bank has already foreclosed on the property. They will first try and sell it at auction and if they do not get the price they are looking for at auction then it will either go back up for auction at a later time or get listed on the MLS with a REO agent and see what then can get for it there. You can always try attending the auction, most likely on the steps of the courthouse in the county it is in and see if it sells there or not.
