Determining Market Value?

Hey Guys! 

So I'm trying to get and understanding of the Market Value here in Utah.

But on sites like Zillow they don't seem to have records of the History of previously sold homes..and what they do have is very scattered making it difficult. 

Is the MLS my only hope? Any other Suggestions? I really appreciate any support Thanks
