Builders Risk Insurance vs Landlord Insurance
If I just bought a home that needs around $30k in rehab work that will take about 2 months to complete, do I need builders risk insurance for those 2 months? Or since I am turning this into a rental, do I just go out and get landlord insurance?
My insurance agent said that if I start to market my rental in under 30 days from purchase, I should be fine with just landlord insurance. I didn't like the word "should" coming from my insurance agent.
