Hello BP, I am currently embarking on a double major in accounting and finance. My goal is to complete a masters in finance due to my vision to invest and become a small business owner. With that being said, I am trying to decipher the best accounting and finance path that will help me attain my goals. Tax, auditing, and financial analyst seemed the most relevant to aid my progress in reaching my goals.

What are your thoughts?

@Evan Reinhardt

Welcome to biggerpockets!

Becoming a financial analyst may help you build the skills you are looking to obtain to become an investor.

You may want to consider working in an accounting department of a small business to gain skills when you open your own business.
Becoming an auditor may help you understand industries/trends/ratio's that also may be useful to start your own business.
