We own 6 SFHs in Cleveland. Going to tour them in 1 week. Management company just informed me of a fee (significant) for them to show me around the properties (additional charge to inform the tenants that we would be entering the residence). Just wondering if this is standard. Thoughts/comments?
Nope, I don't do that often but should be $0, they really don't even need to go with you as long as you provide proper notice. The exception is if this is in the management agreement you signed, if it is I'd switch management companies or negotiate it out.
I bet they nickle and dime you monthly also .
