When to bring a Real Estate Attorney on your team?..

I recently inherited a small rental property in the East Texas area (my grandmother left it to me when she passed years ago and my parents just released it over to me) and I plan on making my first purchase on a long term rental home in the Dallas area around the first of the year. I feel like I should go ahead and find a local real estate attorney that I can make a great connection with before I transfer the property over into my name and before I really dive into the real estate investing world. Does anyone have any tips/experience on when or how I should get connected with an attorney? Does anyone have any recommendations on someone in this field within the Dallas/North Dallas area?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

@Michelle Yochum

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to forms an LLC to hold your properties then get advice from an attorney. If you are looking for tax advice then a CPA would be a better fix. Each has their specialty.
