Hi, I am very interested in learning about investing mortgage notes in Omaha, NE. If possible can you point me in the right direction of how to get started?

It's a great space to be in IF you are thorough with due diligence.  Some notes are very high risk so I suggest you get as much training as possible.  Podcasts are out there and waiting for you.  Check out Note Assistance Program, NAP Nation (Naked Notes Podcast).  Also lots of great info on the biggerpockets website.

@Darrin Suttles
As Harriet mentioned, Dave Van Horn is a great resource on this. You may also want to start reaching out to hard money and private money lenders locally in Omaha to see if they sell their notes or operate a fund that you can invest in.

@Darrin Suttles

Under real estate strategies here on BP is an entire section on notes. There is a lot of great information there to learn from. You can also pick up a lot of info from YouTube and Facebook groups. You can learn a ton without spending $1 on education.

Hope this helps. I can share some names of people but last time I did and some content the post was not allowed so feel free to send a pm and I can provide more info
