I plan on doing an all cash purchase on a single family in NJ. Is there a period of time that banks will make me wait before I can get a mortgage on it?

You should be able to work with a lender to obtain a mortgage within six months. That's ideal anyway because it allows you time to rent the property and may help improve your qualification and rates.

Hi Chris ~ assuming you can show income and your title has recorded on a primary or 2nd home you can go up to 80 loan to value and you can do so with no seasoning and right away. : )
