Using a DBA, filing joint taxes

My husband and I are in the process of closing on our first property in NY, and its a pure rental/investment property with existing tenants (3 unit multifamily).

We are purchasing under our own names, don't plan to get an LLC(umbrella policy instead) BUT we do want to register a DBA (doing business as) purely for aesthetics - that way we will have bank accounts and rent checks made out to that name instead of one of our personal names. We understand it offers no protections etc like an LLC.

HOWEVER before we go and get the DBA and bank accounts, we want to make sure it wont cause any complications when filing taxes. We will both be on the mortgage and title, and we file taxes jointly - we assume we will also be using the Schedule E for the rental income/expenses. Will one of us getting the DBA registered and setting up the biz bank accts under that name cause any issues come tax time?

Thankyou!
