Mechanic Lien Defense Lawyer

Hello community, 

I’m trying to find a good mechanic lien lawyer in Essex county - town of north Elba NY.

There is a contractor we used that is threatening to put a lien on our property for unfinished work. 

I’d highly appreciate your experiences and references in the matter, have talked to some lawyers but haven’t find the right fit yet.

@Francesca Pratt Maybe a way to find an experienced lien law attorney….look up the “notice to owner” companies.  These companies file the proper notices and paper work for contractors and are knowledgeable on lien laws.  They will know or have experienced lien law attorneys.
