Edward - Private Equity (Syndications) is the most common investment in a SDIRA.  I believe all SDIRA companies accept this asset.  Happy to help!

I agree with Kaaren, you should be able to invest in syndication with any SD IRA company, assuming that syndication does accept IRA funds (not all do). The more important question if selecting a provider with great client support, expertise and reasonable cost.

Another thing to consider is if they offer checkbook control.  If you are planning to do only one or two investments, then having to go back and forth with a custodian is probably fine.  If, however, you intend to do multiple transactions and you understand the restrictions and rules of an SDIRA, a company that offers checkbook control would make sense.  I have checkbook control of mine and it makes it very easy to transact just like I do out of my non-qualified accounts.

A lot of our investors use Madison Trust and New Direction IRA. uDirect has been new on the seen (in our deals) and we haven't had an issue with them.

Our preferred vendor right now is quest trust
