I was hoping someone may have had some positive experience with trying to break a laundry room lease, I just purchased a 27 unit apt bldg in Austin, Tx. During my diligence I saw that there was a short form lease on record but it really didn't give any specifics as to terms, the seller had no idea what the terms were either. So I purchased and gave notice of cancellation at which time the company had said it was on automatic 5 year renewal and just renewed in may when I closed in june. Any ideas if this is beatable and I can get them out?
Anyone having any dealings of this nature would be greatly appreciated.
