Looking for a competent attorney in Charlotte NC
I just made a HML to an investor in Charlotte. The title attorney/trustee office we went through to handle the transaction has proven to be not too competent. I know it is important to have a decent attorney/trustee in case things go wrong (investor stops paying, have to foreclose...etc).
This office seems to have their head up their *** (pardon the sailor talk). In fact, they didn't even bother to contact me or provide wiring instructions until the morning of the closing! I'm still waiting for the loan documents and check with points charged. Get nothing but a run around when talking to the people in the office. Who needs it!
I don't feel comfortable dealing with this guy anymore, and want to change trustees.
Anyone know of a decent RE attorney in charlotte?
