if you have a tax home office, then you could do partial depreciation. 

We depreciate our home office.  I have been told that it can get complicated at the sale of the home, because you will have depreciation re-capture.  We have not sold, so I can't talk to how complicated.  Maybe someone with experience can talk to that,
