Should IRS form 1065 be filed when a property is not under LLC?

Hello,

Last year my business partner and I bought a property in Missouri. We were working with a bank that told us since the beginning of the buying process that they could close the property under an LLC. We opened the LCC, but the financing did not work out with that lender. We bought the property with cash (in our names) and did a delayed refinancing which closed early in January 2021 (in our names). We held the property for three months of 2020 (vacant mostly due to repairs). Is it advisable to file the LLC 1065 as if the LCC owned the property during 2020? My first thought is no because the property was not under the LLC's name during that period. But for tax purposes, does it matter? I'd appreciate any inputs. Thanks.
