New investor, focusing on DFW area, mentor me for equity
Hey yall,
I am new to REI, but have done as much homework as I can over the past few months to get up to a reasonable speed before jumping into the stream. I am to the point of being ready for my first investment. For many reasons I am focusing on the DFW area. My target property will be a small (2-8 unit) MF property, possibly interested in mobile homes in this range. I believe I really know enough to start, not get killed, and learn by doing. What I am interested in would be a partner with experience in the market. Would not need any cash/credit or deals handed to me. I want someone to look over my shoulder and help me walk through the process on my first 1-2 deals. I would be willing to pay in the form of equity to make it worth the while and more to demonstrate the value I have for being taught. Let me know if this is something you might be interested in.
