Plumber who can drill through the floor

Hi, all

For Christmas, Santa gave me frozen pipes and a leak in on the service line under the house.

Any recommendations on a plumber who can rip open the floor to get access to the service line under the house?

Thanks.

“Usually” at least in vegas it’s cheaper and faster to just run an all new line from the main to the house main shutoff. Especially true if you have post tension concrete like in a garage.

 And no flooring repairs, or any others for that matter....

@Bruce Woodruff

You mean because plumbers have ZERO problems leaving huge holes in floors, concrete, walls, cabinets and backsplash? Simply saying “you’ll need to get a guy to patch that…” as they put your check in their pocket and walk out. They don’t even seem to “know a guy”. Even though they leave the same mess everywhere?

Thanks.

Hey @Svend W. - Sorry to hear about the unfortunate event.  I don't wish car problems or water issues on anyone, they are the worst!

We have a couple of solid plumbers that work on the north side of Chicago.  If you shoot me a PM I can provide their contact information.

Thanks @Jonathan Klemm and everyone else.

Things got worse—my service line burst—but i put in an emergency shutoff request w the city and found somebody, who’s got things under control now.  And luckily the pipe burst was in the crawl space rather than inside.

A fun way to spend the holidays, especially when you’re vacationing on another continent!
