@Thomas Lee Malpass have you done any deals yet? I don't recommend starting out in multifamily and if you do definitely get educated. Bringing on limited partners involves securities laws and you can get in a lot of trouble if you handle things the wrong way.

nope but I figured why not, cant be much harder than normal SFH. and yes I have been researching on limited partner laws and contracts etc.
