Hello BP friends

I'm looking for my first fix&hold deal in Jacksonville florida. Meanwhile I would like to learn more about the actual fixing process to understand better what I really need to do in each deal, how, and how much it suppose to cost.

With that said, I'm looking for GC or handyman in Jacksonville fl that will take me with him so I could help him do the work, learn from him, and of course work with him on bigger projects in the future.

Do you have time to do that? That's not a 2 week thing. If you don't have a job, find a contractor who will take you on as a side kick. It will probably take a few years or so before you have seen enough different projects that you have a hands on understanding of everything from framing to roofing.

And then my next question is, why would you want that? You can learn estimating jobs without learning how to do it, just read J Scott's book!

Drive around a area where there are flips going on and pop in on projects. Tell the workers you would like to hire and start asking all the questions you want answered.

spot on.  some people drive for dollars, I like to drive for contractors

Buy the required tools and teach yourself by practicing in your garage on test pieces, such as how to cut and tape drywall, or how to cut and glue white pvc, or shark bites, etc...

When you were in high school have taken 4 years of woodshop.

You doing the work along side a contractor would likely be an issue with insurance / workman's compensation / etc.
