Looking for guidance and contacts

I am looking to try to start my long term investing career in the Dallas area.  I am currently practicing and prepping underwriting deals to be as prepared as possible.  I am still a very new investor.  Within 3 days of starting I landed a flip house that should net 60-70k, and using flip money to help finance long term rental deals. However, since then have had trouble and I’m in a position where I just feel stuck.  However, I am continuing on with a mindset of seller financing on long term rental deals at this time.  I just need connections and any direction that may help.  Thank you!
