Don't listen to what she says fellas, size matters. The size of an apartment building is going to effect the type of financing you can get. Buying small apartment buildings with 2-4 units is the best way for new apartment building investors to get started. Trying to buy something larger than 4 units as your first commercial real estate investment is going to be very difficult given the types of loans you'd be limited to. This financing limitation doesn't exist if you are starting out with 2-4 unit apartment buildings. Tune in to HoltonWiseTV tips on long term buy & hold real estate investing.
