With so many beautiful areas in and around Williamson County, Harpeth Pass is a quiet, unassuming place. Nestled in the valley of Peytonsville Road, surrounded by it's own horseshoe shaped hills and completely hidden from view, it's natural beauty takes some time to discover.

With a total of 126.39 acres, it's somewhat diverse. 26 acres are rolling to level grassland meadows. These meadows are separated by old hedgerows, small ponds and an interesting deep ravine that holds stories as well as many interesting old trees.

One of the valleys created by the ridge, has a large fish pond. Behind the pond, in the deepest part of the cove, a wet weather spring appears high on the hillside, creating a small waterfall-like stream that makes it's way inevitably to this large pond.

Approximately 90 acres are forest with elevations reaching 1100 feet, some of the highest in the area. Because of this, there are many beautiful views and lookouts to the hills and valleys beyond. The woodlands are a mix and include an old forest of chestnut oaks and hickories on the east ridge, maples, beech and poplars on west side.

Although there are a variety of trails, some accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicle or ATV and others easily traversed by foot or horseback, it's obvious that many trails culminate to favorite lookout areas fondly known as the knoll and the lower knoll . The main trail comes with it's own local history.

Whether you're a nature lover, looking for Greenbelt development property or simply looking for a place that offers the combination of quiet seclusion, privacy and convenience, you'll find it here. But only if you know where to look.

Harpeth Pass is located 2 miles east of I-65, 3 miles from SR 840, 6 miles from Main Street in Historic Franklin, 5 miles from Williamson Medical Center and 11 miles from Arrington Vineyard.
