Hi All,
I just thought I would throw my situation out there to see if anyone had any creative suggestions for me.

I'm a 30 year old MS grad who was working while investing in my copious spare time, however, I was laid off last week (and had ACL surgery - ouch!)

It does not look like I will be able to find suitable employment in the area anytime soon. I could move to find a new comparable job. My wife is currently working, likes her job, but would move if need be.

I'm still actively looking for deals in the area, and am not having trouble finding them.

I have 2 SFRs that are owned free and clear.

My SFRs are bringing in CF, but my wife is not comfortable without my previous salary. Not that I need to replace ALL of it, but I do need to step up the CF if I'm not going to get another 9-5.

Any suggestions?

should I start looking for private money?
should I try to get cash out of the free an clears properties (they are in a new LLC)

or should I suck it up and find myself a cube farm to live in?

Many thanks!
Mark
