Chicago area property owners - due to the recent severe hail storms, insurance companies are paying to replace your damaged roofing, siding, gutters, screens, and basically anything aluminum outside of your building. Little Village Contractors, as an Illinois Licensed Roofer (104.017391) and Licensed Chicago General Contractor (TGC11324), works directly with your insurance company to ensure that if you have a valid claim, all of the damage is covered and repaired. And that repairs are made at NO OUT OF POCKET COST TO YOU.
Many times, it takes an expert eye to spot hail damage, which can occur even to roofing/siding replaced in the past year. Frequently, when owners rely on their insurance company to determine if damage exists, their claim is denied outright or grossly underpaid. After all, why would the insurance company honestly tell you how much they have to pay?
The vast majority of Northern Illinois, including Romeoville, Naperville, Waukegan, Chicago; Will, Lake, Dupage, and Cook Counties have experienced substantial hail damage through which we have successfully utilized to gain claim approvals from most insurers, and been able to perform repairs, again, at NO COST to you the insured.

Don't rely on the insurance company or some fly-by-night out-of-state unlicensed contractor to slap new shingles on your home and leave you with no recourse in the future. We're licensed/bonded/insured in Illinois and most municipalities, and only perform work in Illinois (with our office located in Chicago).
I'm confused by your post. Your profile says that you're a broker, but it appears as if you own a construction and roofing company.
Also, don't insurance companies require that all work be performed by licensed and bonded contractors? Sorry, just trying to learn. thanks
Apart from my brokerage I also own a roofing company.
BP only lets one company appear on my signature and I don't include "contractor" in my title because I previously got inundated by requests for quotes from folks who didn't own or even have properties under contract yet and for handyman type jobs.
If you check out my profile here you'll see the brokerage Olszak Realty Inc and roofing company Little Village Contractors Inc w/ details of each. We're a Licensed Illinois Roofing Contractor #104.017391, I personally am the qualifying party (person who took the extensive test) for the company as well, #105.007660. We're licensed as a general contractor in multiple municipalities as required and the City of Chicago, #TGC111324. In business since 2016.
And yes, insurance companies will require work is performed by licensed contractors w/ permits, and you can't pull roofing permits in Illinois without a roofing license.
thanks for the thorough explanation and education. I didn't know about the roofing licensure requirement. and I can definitely see why you'd get inundated with those types of requests if you included "contractor" in your title. I'm still working on my first property. I'll keep your company in mind if it needs a new roof.
