Old 401k into new Investment Property

I am soon to be leaving my current employer for an employer without 401k. Is it possible to use that 401k money to purchase a new investment property?

@Joshua Minatel

Yes, you can use a self-directed 401k. There are many companies that offer this. I use one with a flat annual fee and no other fees. DM me and I will send you their information.

@Joshua Minatel,

You can rollover your old 401k into self-directed IRA, which will enable to you to invest outside of the stock market into virtually any alternative investment opportunity, including real estate.

If you are considering rental, you may find Checkbook IRA be more beneficial, basically it is a self-directed IRA on steroids which allows you to bypass the custodian and grants you "checkbook control" over your IRA.

Yes it can be rolled over into a self-directed account to purchase property. Will you be getting a loan on a portion of the property as well?
