CPA/ Real estate lawyer
Hey all, Im looking for a suggestion on who everyone is using for a cpa and real estate lawyer. I need help setting up my business and moving my rentals into a trust and opening LLC for them (I think) if that is the best strategy for protection and tax optimizations. Originally I wasn't so worried about it because I owed so much so suing me would be pointless lol. Over the last few years things took off, plus its obviously in my best interest to keep as much money from the tax man as I can. Any help from fellow investors would be awesome, thanks.

Darren, good start. Yes, talk to a CPA first who can give you tax efficient structure and then take that to an attorney.

Hey @Darren Redfearn, I'd recommend @Jeff Nash as a CPA who can help with your needs. He may also be able to point you in a good direction for a RE lawyer as well.
Bigger Pockets has a CPA page: https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/tax-partners
Hall CPA specializes in real estate and has a good reputation

CPA - Advice / Approval of structure
Attorney - The one who would draft up the operating agreement, setting up the entities.
The issue with Attorney is that they are normally state specific.
Therefore, you would likely be looking for an attorney in North Carolina.
Best of luck
