Tenants/ Guest laws in California
Good afternoon,
I’ve been a landlord for about a year living on the property with 2 tenants. One being quite the nuisance, she has been bringing her boyfriend almost every other weekend and has even had him stay on the property by himself without her present on the property, for extended periods of time. I am writing her a new lease this month and it will be effective February. What can I write on the lease to prevent the guest’s prolonged stay? Also what can I as the landlord do, to protect myself and my asset? What are my rights as a landlord lord and what are the tenant’s rights?
