Palm Beach Property Appraiser info inaccurate!
I just bought a triplex. The property appraiser shows its a triplex! I found out today when checking with zoning (about adding parking) that the garage (that was turned into an apartment) was never permitted.
Zoning has the property listed as a duplex.
Zoning said its possible that if code enforcement receives a complaint, we could be fined $500 per day for unpermitted rental.
We bought this mid Febuary based upon it being a triplex...do I have any recourse?

@Al Banfe Whether additions/enclosures were permitted or not is a due diligence/inspection issue. Status of permits is not a seller disclosure issue. It is easy to look up permits on the county building site.

Work with them to get it approved or get the property back into compliance.
