Abroad Rental Ideas for Renters

Hello All

Wanted to start a discussion surrounding rental properties outside of the United States and having a partnership with a company that may have employees traveling for periods of times and in need of places to rent during their stay.

I am wondering if anyone currently rents out their units to companies that have employees travel periodically, such as traveling nurses/doctors. Even if your rental is in the United States I am still curious about the process and finding such applicable companies to partner with.

If so, how did you go about finding the applicable company to partner with?

We looked into that at one point for an apartment complex we used to own. The company wanted quite a few concessions and improvements, so it ultimately didn't work out but it can be a viable strategy. Our underlying issue was that the building was older and C-class. A newer, nicer property would be a better fit.

This might be a partial answer to your ideas? We have a large hospital near our apartment building. We know their HR people and they have sent us doctors and nurses from time to time. These are regular applicants and not short term as we do not have any furnished units. The doctors have stayed for about a year each and the nurses longer. We have two nurses from that hospital in the building currently-they are model tenants!
