Cosigners and tenant screening
I've been screening applicants for my first tenants. I didn't know it would be so hard to get one good qualified tenant, but I want to make sure that I'm not being too picky.
What are your opinions on cosigners? Would you accept them and are the criteria for screening the same? Right now I'm saying no to cosigners because it's so much paperwork and becasue it might possibly be a useless gauge as to what quality of a tenant I am getting...
