Hey guys! This is going to be my first post, but I have been a long time follower of both the podcast as well as the forums. I couldn't quite find the answer that I am looking for, so I thought that I would see what people have to say.
My question is: for those of you that either work for property management companies, or for investors that list their own properties, do you list your rentals on multiple websites to gain exposure? Ex. Zillow, Trulia, Apartments.com, etc.
And if so, is there a site that you use that posts your listings to all of these websites at once to save time? I am wondering if there is a way to save time, but also to post listings to these other sites in order to get more exposure for the rental.
Any information would be great! Thank you!
I use Zillow Rental Manager (formerly Postlets). It puts the listings on several sites and I get plenty of traffic from those. I also used to post on Craigslist, but anecdotally, my craigslist applicants seemed to be of a lower quality. I used to also put a sign on the property, but that just led to way too many annoying phone calls.
As an extra little step, assuming you are local to your property, I also post my zillow ad on Facebook. Your friends might know people that are in the market for a rental and can point them directly to you.
