Hanover PA Buy and Holds

Does anybody have any experience with Buy and Holds in Hanover, PA? I'm from Carroll County MD and most area's are expensive for a beginner. The housing cost is much more reasonable to start out with so I was curious if anyone has had success with rentals in Hanover, PA.  

Also anyone who invests in the surrounding area as well i.e. "Gettysburg". I'm curious to know how the rental game is in these areas since they tend to seem out of the way.
