The property management company I’m checking out has this for their evictions and collections section:
“Standard eviction service is a flat $350 which includes document submissions, filing fees, court appearances, legal fees and court costs. The fee for collection of awarded judgement is 50% of funds recovered by collections.”
Does this seem high in the collection %?
Seems like they go above and beyond. Suing for possession and suing for civil penalties are two different things. I don't know of many people who even try for a judgement. If someone is getting evicted, they likely have $0 to their name.
@Peter T. - So you’re saying 50% is probably reasonable being that in most cases nothing is collected or gone after?
