Hey guys and gals.
I recently purchased a tax deed property with a home on it. Someone is living there as power is on and I can hear a dog inside even though no one will answer the door. 

With the moratorium on evictions, I can’t evict. Would like to work with the lady and just see if she could pay a little each month. 

I know it’s an older lady and I got her name from power company. What would you do in this situation?

Maybe if you leave a note on the door or send her a letter, she'll be more likely to answer when you come by?

Are you sure that she is a tenant and not the prior owner or related to him/her?

She may be the former owner. No idea on that one. I have left notes and sent   Letters.
