Our next Real Estate Networking meetup will be on-site at a fellow investor's finished rehab project in West Oakland next Wednesday, Jan 21st, at 6:30PM. This deal belongs to @Daniel S. , licensed general contractor, RE broker, and all-around good guy, operating out of the Oakland area. Danny was nice enough to host one of our meetups back in July of 2014 before it had been rehabbed, and I'm excited to come back and see it finished. The numbers are great! Be sure to grab his business card if you're looking to potentially partner up in the future!
The address will be sent by email to those who RSVP for the meet up. The property is not far from the South Emeryville border, in the Clawson neighborhood of West Oakland. Bring your favorite beverage (6 pack OK ;) and/or a snack to share with others. There is no cost for this meetup. Those who RSVP yes will receive the address through this meetup email.
The typical agenda will be chatting as people arrive, do some introductions, Danny will show us the property and what he did, then everyone will have a chance to connect individually again. It's worth a trip down from Marin or Vallejo, in from Walnut Creek, up from Fremont, or hop over from San Francisco! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Also, 2015 will bring us into the 2nd Annual SF Real Estate Networking Summit! About 200 investors last November had an amazing time connecting over Saturday and Sunday at SFSU, interacting with some great speakers and panelists, and I know of several deals closed since then from investors who connected at the Summit.
