Announcement: Schedule change
Beginning in August, Black Diamond will schedule one meeting per month, at alternating Worcester and Waltham Massachusetts locations. We will continue two events in July, with the new schedule taking effect August 18th.In addition, all meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month. This will allow us to reschedule events to the 4th Tuesday in the event of weather emergencies.
Our schedule going forward will be as follows:
July 21, 2015 Worcester: Tips and Tricks for Jumping into Self Storage
July 28, 2015 Waltham: What Grinds your Gears and Gooses your Gripes – your rant opportunity
August 18, 2015 Worcester
September 15, 2015 Waltham
October 20, 2015 Worcester
November 17, 2015 Waltham
December 15, 2015 Worcester: SurvivorOpoly returns!
January 19, 2016 Waltham
We will continue alternating meetings, with Waltham meetings being held on odd numbered months, and Worcester meetings being held on even numbered months. In the event that a change to this schedule is implemented, we will announce accordingly.
We will continue to provide predominantly local speakers and content of interest to seasoned investors, as well as welcome new investors to attend. There is no policy change, and we still prohibit selling speakers, multi-level marketing, and soliciting for "investors or partners".
All the Black Diamond partners have had significant increases in business over the last few years, and this schedule change will allow us to continue the fabulous networking that we have enjoyed while providing more time to focus attention on our individual businesses.
Thanks to all for continuing to support us, and as always, feedback is welcome.
Hi Ann- thank you for the update. It's much appreciated all the work that you and others do to bring investors together. I plan on attending next weeks meeting and my wife and I are looking for a Investor friendly\Savvy real estate agent. Any referrals or suggestions?
Thank you in advance for your reply,
Mike & Marcia Shaffer
Well, yes, but I guess it depends on where you are working. What I would do, is during the "introductions" segment, stand up, introduce yourself, and tell everyone that you are looking for an investor friendly agent. For the most part, agents who attend our meetings are by definition at least interested in working with investors. But the good ones are harder to find. You can also reach out to Kelle O'Keefe
