Nov 10 Meetup in Manhattan with BP Podcast guest Dawn Anastasi

Hello fellow BiggerPockets members from and around the greatest city in the world, New York! I'm pleased to announce our next Meetup in Manhattan will be taking place on Thursday November 10th so be sure to put it in your calendar and register for the event!

So very happy to announce our next Special Guest Speaker with be Dawn Anastasi from the BiggerPockets Podcast number 29!

Dawn is primarily a buy and hold investor who specializes in fixing up and renting out single family homes along with Duplexes in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.  She started investing with a business partner back in 2008 with the idea of renovating foreclosed homes and selling them.  That relationship didn't last long and Dawn took the reigns and made her company Core Properties, into the business it is today with many single family and duplex rentals. 

If you haven't listened to Dawn's Podcast here on BP it's about time you do so (link above).  She's been quoted in @Brandon Turner's The Book on Rental Property Investing and has written a book herself called Investing in Milwaukee.  She's going to talk about what she looks for in creating great cash flow properties and for someone who's been at this for almost a decade you can be sure it will be a tremendous amount of knowledge!  Dawn is also a Moderator on BiggerPockets.com.  Chances are you've seen her around and now you have the chance to meet her in person and ask her questions!

The event location is at 27 East 28th Street in the WeWork space.  We'll start at 6pm and go to at least 9pm or until they kick us out as they did with the last one!

As I usually do, I want to personally thank Matt Rodak from FundThatFlip.com for getting us back to the WeWork space and making it happen. Thanks Matt! @Benjamin Hirsch from Regal Kitchens will also be there. Expect to hear from both of them during the event about the great services they provide and deservedly so.  And lastly I'd like to thank Paul Dicker from WSFS Mortgage for stepping up and doing the lion's share in getting Dawn to the event.   Hearing from them is the only "pitching of products or services" you'll hear outside what other members may talk to you about.

Yes hungry people there will be food at the event. We'll have Pizza of all sorts, Beer and Wine (White & Red) for everyone to enjoy.

Even if you're brand new to BiggerPockets, a first time investor or a seasoned Pro, money lender or contractor, wholesaler or business professional, be sure to be there and meet other members and those interested in Real Estate investing from the NYC metro area which includes Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Orange County, Fairfield County CT, and Northern NJ.

There is no dress code. Come as you feel most comfortable to network with others. Just be prepared for a great event.
