Overview

At this meeting we have one of our own members speaking about how he got started in real estate investing and specifically how he went from working as a teacher to an investor netting $1000 a month in less than one year. He'll share his journey and hopefully serve as encouragement that anyone who is committed can do the same.

About Our Speaker

@Daniel Karbownik grew up in Toms River, NJ and currently lives with his wife in Howell. He has a degree in Mathematics from TCNJ, is a competitive chess player, and taught himself software management.

Upon graduating, Dan became a math and computer science teacher. He then acquired his real estate license and fifteen months later started working as a project manager for a real estate developer. After three short months in that position, Dan bought his first rental property.

Topic

Dan attended his first CJREI meeting in September of 2015 and asked to speak to the group to inspire others and show them first hand what is possible.

Dan bought his first rental property in May 2016. In less than a year, he has accumulated two more rental properties and also purchased a new home with his wife. Today his three rentals produce $1000 in positive, monthly, cash flow.

Come hear how he did it; how Dan went from school teacher to real estate investor with a growing rental portfolio. Dan will take us on the journey of how he found and funded his properties, lessons learned along the way, and his goals moving forward. Dan is living proof that the average person can do this.

Join us this month to learn, to network, to ask questions, and hopefully to be encouraged.

Location

We will be meeting at the Beach Haus Brewery. It is located at 801 Main Street in Belmar, NJ. There is street parking and a parking lot behind the building. Both are free. You do not need to be 21 or purchase a drink in order to attend this event. You should be greeted when you first walk in to their gift shop area before being directed upstairs. Check out our website for more details.
