“Money for Your Deals” – Alternative Funding Sources for Your Real Estate Investments
A revealed that Americans favor real estate (34%) over EVERY OTHER long term investment, including the stock market (26%), gold (18%), savings accounts (13%) and bonds (5%). Additionally, most millionaires in American have a large percentage of their wealth invested in real estate. So then, why does a recent study reveal that only 3% (yes, THREE PERCENT!) of Americans plan to buy an investment property in the next 12 months? The simple answer: Money.
One of the greatest challenges that beginning investors face is how they are going to FUND their investment deals. They have bought into the notion that the only way to make money is to START with a lot of money, but statistics don’t back that up. In fact, only 24% of active investors expect to pay cash for their next deal, while the majority are using various combinations of bank financing, private money, and other creative funding sources to grow their real estate portfolios.
