The Diversified Real Estate Investor Group will share the blueprint for effective and efficient project management of home rehab efforts during its first general meeting of 2018. Held Jan. 25 at Talamore Country Club, the discussion features insight from DIG’s panel of experts.
DIG member Kathy Gilmore will moderate the “Project Management Done Right” discussion, which features various scope of work templates, as well as an overview of experts’ systems, tips and tricks for effectively managing rehab projects. Attendees will learn how to create their own scope of work, which can then be used to manage contractors and complete the job on time and on budget.
Fellow real estate investors will leave the meeting with a better understanding of the following:
What is involved in the project?
What are the tangible deliverables (example: cabinets, fixtures, fencing, etc.)
What is the order of work – which trades work in which order?
What are the key milestones and deadlines?
What organizing tools will help in tracking work flow and budget?
