For those of you who need some background info on our special guests, I'm happy to provide you that info:

Liz Faircloth began her investing career with the purchase of a duplex with a $30,000 loan outside of Philadelphia. After selling this duplex and moving to New Jersey, she co-founded the DeRosa Group with her husband, Matt Faircloth, in 2005. They have since grown the company which is based in Trenton NJ to owning and managing over 500 units of residential and commercial assets throughout the east coast. While helping grow the DeRosa portfolio, she had a career for many years where she worked with Fortune 500 companies to develop team and leadership development programs. Liz has facilitated more than 200 workshops for universities, business conferences, and executive level trainings. As chief advisor with DeRosa, she has helped build their portfolio to owning & managing apartment buildings, multifamily, mixed use buildings, & commercial buildings in various sections of the East Coast. On the personal side, Liz comes from a spirited Italian family, is blessed with amazing friends & the mom of two adorable young children. She is an avid runner & has a passion of giving back to her community. She's been on the BiggerPockets Podcast 2X!  You can listen to them here with episode #88 and here with episode #203

Andresa Guidelli was born and raised in Brazil. After finishing up her MBA she made the bold move to the United States to start her second master’s degree in Professional Business Communication at La Salle University. After graduating, she worked as a "door to door" salesperson where she gained the value of learning the importance of providing custom solutions for clients. She has vast experience in full gut renovation projects and building new construction developments in Philadelphia, PA & NJ. Andresa is currently the director of Real Estate Development for Campenella & Columbus Construction.

She also owns & manages a small rental portfolio in Philadelphia, comprised of both long & short term rentals. She is the co-founder of Monarch: Short Term Rentals. Long Term Relationships, where she offers a “5 Step Conversion Package” tailored for Real Estate investors who currently own long term rentals and want to diversify their portfolio by entering the short term rental arena. The conversion goes from market analysis, construction, furnishing, creating and managing online listings and providing a custom experience to guests around the world.  Andresa can be heard on BP podcast #314 here.

Andresa & Liz are the co-founders of The Real Estate InvestHER show, a podcast to empower women to live a financially free & balanced life. Each episode details the journey of the most successful women investors who share what it takes to help listeners become the best version of themselves. This powerhouse podcast shares actionable strategies to develop a more successful real estate business while becoming more fulfilled as a woman.

We'll start off the event with great networking, then we're going to get a market update in NY & NJ from myself & Adam Cherko. We'll also hear from Karen Jones from East Coast Capital regarding lending products & where the rates are (and possibly going to). And we also may put a new part in where we hear from you, our guests on any possible deal your working on and/or needs at the moment. After that we'll get a great presentation from Liz and Andresa on how to power thru getting stuck in real estate investing, followed by more networking.

Also on the ticket again will be our BiggerPockets resident CPA @Nicholas Aiola with some great tax information about the differences between repairs and capital improvements (and timing on them) so you'll be sure to pay less taxes regardless of your strategy. Should be another great insight for all of you to take advantage of!

PLEASE NOTE, again the event will be taking place at The Roosevelt Hotel, located at 45 E. 45th Street in Manhattan, in the Vanderbilt Suite located on the 2nd Floor. We'll start at 6:30pm and go to 9:30pm. This location is incredibly easy to get to only steps from Grand Central Station.

We're going to have great networking with BiggerPockets members from all over the Tri State area.

You'll see on the sign up page here.
