Stopped at a yard sale...bought the house.
It always pays to keep your eyes open. On my way to the office last month I stopped at a yard sale and as a direct result ended up closing on the purchase of the house a couple weeks later.
I'm not sure what the ultimate plan is yet but last weekend I had fun at least cleaning up the yard.
I'm pretty good with a chainsaw but I'm having that big pine next to the house professionally removed. I'm good, but not that good....
I believe it has been partially vacant for the better part of 4 years and totally vacant for the last two. I turned the power on but am not even going to deal with the existing furnace - I can tell just by looking at it that it's not worth spending a dime on. A new one is on order and will hopefully be installed this week. Once I have heat I can figure out just how bad the plumbing is. (Gotta have heat before plumbing when you're staring a Maine winter face....).
