Online guide book for your STRs?

We have a PDF for each of our STRs that we send out a few days before guests arrive. In the future, I'd like to move this guest info to a digital version so I can send one URL to guests with all the info they need. We primarily list on AirBNB and VRBO.

I'm curious if anyone has created "digital guidebooks" for their STRs?  I'm using iGMS so it would be convenient if it allowed us to create a digital guidebook for our rentals.

I use a 3 ring binder. Works wonderfully.

We use Touchstay also. Love that you can imbed videos on stuff like how to use the lock, thermostat, tv, and anything else that may be confusing.

We created our own digital guidebook for each property, embedded within our website. Pretty easy with squarespace.

It allows us to:

- create a polished, branded experience

- easily make updates

- market our other properties and value-add content

Marketing our other properties through the guidebook is something that I have not thought about.  That’s a great idea.  I will be updating my guidebooks tomorrow to add a page about our other properties.
Thank you!

The cheapest and easiest solution is free, it's a Google doc. You just share the URL and make sure sharing is turned on.

Its not as polished as other options though.

Agreed. I create a google doc for each property and then add a QR code link to the 1 page welcome guide that i leave at each home.

Hostfully is great looking. One property is free per email address if you just wanted to try it out.

I used to print it as well but that can be a pain if and when anything changes.

I print out a piece of paper with the instructions and stick it on the fridge with neodymium magnets I made from the brass of 8 gauge shotgun shell hulls.

LOVE our digital guidebooks.  I would guess we get about half the messages we used to asking for help. Agree with another comment above that videos can help explain things that a binder or Google doc never could.  Especially technical things.

We initially used Touchstay but switched over to GoGuidebook. GoGuidebook was a little cheaper and in my opinion a little easier to use.  They're both pretty similar though.
