Changing PMs or to Self Manage

I keep going back and forth about changing PMs or self managing. Does either Airbnb or VRBO have a reasonable strategy when changing PMs or going from PM to self managing? It doesn't seem practical to attempt having guests cancel and sign back up due to inability to match fees and possibility of someone else booking the dates if they are opened.

Not that I know of. Property managers usually insist on owning the listing. Which means a change will erase all of your reviews and you’ll start from scratch. A lot of hosts now want to keep themselves as listing owner and have the PM as a co-host, which can be changed easily if you end your relationship with them. But I’m sure not all want to do that.
