Short Term Rentals - Obsessions
The following are obsessions I see from owners about running their STRs. They gross tens of thousands in revenue, but go into a rage (Baba Yaga?) when a few dollars is at risk. The law of averages says that there will always be those on the higher end of the scale. This is usually followed by "how can I collect or how can I prevent it?"
My philosophy is ignoring everything unless it is extreme. it isn't worth the higher blood pressure or the bad review risk.

They're running the air conditioner / heat too much !
They overstayed by 30 minutes. How can I clean?
They're using too much internet! ( not talking about satellite owner here)
They using too much electricity!
They brought an extra guest!
They did $50 worth of damage!
The place was dirty, it took me an extra hour or two!
They left me a 4-star review. Don't they understand?
