Hi Cierra,
Check out your local universities there is often a lot of RE events that they will host. You could even potentially find a good mentor because they bring in experience and successful RE people. I would also check out Facebook for RE events.

I am doing well, how are you?
The oil activity is doing pretty well right now with the prices! Nice and steady activity. I am more leaning towards purchasing a multi family unit or SFH to use as a rental.
